Corporate social responsibility

Doing more for our community.

If you’re going to be any sort of leader, it’s important to look outside of your office, your team and your customers. Corporate social responsibility means extending our reach beyond offering exceptional services and support, and doing our bit for those less fortunate than us.

It’s not just about decrying modern slavery (we absolutely do), or committing oursevles to fostering inclusivity (another unreserved yes). It means that we’re mindful enough to use sustainable products whenever we can, and support some of Australia’s most worthwhile charities with millions of dollars of equipment, services and financial contributions.
Asthma Foundation (NSW)
Ethan continues to sponsor the Fairways Fundraising Group, helping to raise money to change the quality of life for families struggling with asthma. Funds are used for medical research, community education programs and support services.
Australian Cancer Research Foundation
In addition to donating computers for office equipment, Ethan has raised money to support the foundation’s groundbreaking research into treatment and cures for cancer.
Ethan Indigenous
As a separate entity, Ethan Indigenous is a certified provider within the Supply Nation network.

Together with the David Liddiard Group, we support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities throughout Australia with funds for education, training and healthcare.

When you partner with Ethan Indigenous, a percentage of your purchases go towards helping these communities. Same service, same price, value added outcomes with social impact.

Valid purchases can be made through the Ethan store or via our procurement process.
Good Beginnings
We’re honoured to support Good Beginnings in providing free early childhood and practical parenting programs for families across Australia. In addition to cash donations, key members of Ethan’s leadership team have also offered professional and advisory services to Good Beginnings for more than five years.
Lloyd McDermott Rugby Development Team
The Lloyd McDermott Rugby Development Team promotes rugby union among young Aboriginal men and women to increase their participation rates in the sport. We support the Champions of Sport event, which raises funds to advance Indigenous participation in rugby. We have also donated computers and associated equipment to recipients of the organisation’s scholarships.
Salvation Army
Ethan has provided over 300 gifts to the Salvation Army’s ‘Christmas Gifts for Sydney’s Homeless and Underprivileged Children’ appeal, ensuring disadvantaged kids around Australia have had presents to open on Christmas Day.
The Smith Family
Ethan has donated equipment and services to The Smith Family’s National Volunteering Week event, and arranged for more than 10,000 Christmas toys to be distributed to disadvantaged Australian children aged between 0–12 years.
Touched by Olivia Foundation

Ethan was instrumental in establishing the Touched by Olivia Foundation in memory of an employee’s baby daughter. We have donated significant funds to the foundation over several years and are a major sponsor of the annual Touched by Olivia Butterfly Ball.

A significant proportion of our donations have been put towards funding clinical trials for a new drug that may treat the disease that took Olivia’s life. The drug has shown an 85 per cent success rate in clinical trials.

Our fundraising has also enabled the foundation to build four inclusive and award-winning playgrounds, where children of all abilities can play side by side. A further 11 playgrounds are planned for the coming years.

“Ethan has pledged over $1.4 million to the Touched by Olivia Foundation. Without this funding, the Foundation would not have been able to achieve its numerous milestones.”
John Perkins, Director of the Touched by Olivia Foundation and Olivia’s father

Uniting Aged Care
Ethan has donated computer equipment to the Uniting Care South East Region and contributed funds to improve the care the organisation provides to ageing Australians.
Wesley Mission

Ethan is a committed supporter of Wesley Mission’s work caring for vulnerable Australians. Our donations have included the organisation’s Spirit of Mission Community Awards Dinner, which helps raise awareness of the services it provides, as well as the event’s Volunteer of the Year Award.

We have also donated to the Wesley Mission’s Captains & Legends Cricket Challenge, which supports the organisation’s Disability Services and Life Skills Programs.
