As a pioneer in Mitel telephony and cloud services, Ethan is thrilled to accept the top Innovation of the Year accolade for Asia Pacific.
Mitel Networks has bestowed Ethan with its Asia Pacific Service Provider Innovation of the Year Award.
The Australian provider was presented with the accolade during Mitel Networks’ annual MPower Asia Pacific Conference in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Ethan achieved the top spot in the category for its Unified-Communications-as-a-Service platform.
Ethan CEO, Paul Kawtal, who recently stepped into the newly created role at the service provider, accepted the award.
“Receiving this prestigious award is for us recognition that the investment we have made for many years in becoming a leader in the UC industry has paid off,” he said.
According to Mitel Asia Pacific vice president, Gwilym Funnell, the service provider stood out from the other nominees for their commitment to Mitel Networks as their unified communications (UC) partner.
“Mitel has had a long relationship with Ethan and it is their attention to customer needs, their vision for how communication landscape is evolving and their ability to move with it through Ethan Cloud that has led to them winning this award,” he said.
Although the Ethan Cloud platform by the Ethan has only been on the market since January 2012, Funnell is already convinced that it is “the future for UC.”
“Ethan Cloud is a platform that provides a single point for businesses to rely without having to manage multiple service providers,” he said.
Since its launch in Australia, Ethan Cloud has been deploying, supporting and managing Mitel UC solutions for clients such as Infrastructure NSW, LandMark White and International Power Australia.
